My lovely mother~

I received a phone call from my mummy last night. I was surprised that she gave me a phone call because we usually chat through webcam. My mummy told my host mother that her computer was broken so that she couldn't see me through Msn so she gave me a call. After answering her call, my host mother sincerely said that "your mother must miss you a lot because she hasn't seen you for few days. This is mother's love". I feel very happy to hear that and it almost made me cry.

Remember at the begining of I came here to study, Once, I didn't go online to chat with my mother for a night as the internet was suddendly out of connection. She then called me in the next day morning at AUS time 7:00am that meant HK time 5:00am only!! I wondered if she went to sleep!! I asked her why she didn't call me at that night and she said it was because she thought I slept already! She was so sweet at the time T.T

After that, I go online every day no matter I am free or not. Maybe I just leave her a message but that's perfectly enough for her.

My lovely mummy, although your consideration for me makes me feel warm and sweet, I still want to tell you:

you can call me anytime!! you don't need to worry that your call will wake me up!!

Hi Da,

ar ha, your article makes me remember that before i came to Syd, the relationship between my dad and i wasn't that good. We seldom talked with each other or i can say we talked to each other with not more than 10 sentences each day. I don't know why actually, but maybe it dues with my dad's personality. He doesn't like to talk when he doesn't want to. You can imagine how cool he is when he is at home...so i get a little bit scary of him.

But after i come here (wow, i am here for already 1 year), he calls me once everyweek...and everytime he asks me "how are you son? are you alright in Syd? How was your school life?" etc. And during the trip back to HK in Jan this year, i can't imagine that my dad and i can sit together, chatting and drinking beer... we are just like friends who miss each other for long time. i really can't imagine how close my dad and i can be now you know.

Anyway, i can say that although your parents won't show consideration for you face to face, in fact, they are absolutely very care of you. Coz you are (I am) their little "Baby" forever...!!!

we only start to realise something we really love, miss or need when we lose or separate... just like ur last post and this post

we just get "blind" about what we already have... common sickness of many people
