Sept or Jan??

I'm confronting when I should go back HK~
there are two options for me,
one is the break after this semster~ (in Sept)
another one is the break after this course... (in Jan)
I basically had a plan that I will go back to HK after this course~
it means in Jan 2oo8, then I can have Chinese New Year in HK~
I make this paln because I didn't have time with my family during last Chinese New Year.
and you know what... a lot of trandtional good Chinese food I can eat during Chinese New Year.
but unfortunately, I just heard a news that I "have to" come back Sydney for preparing sth for university~
it means I can have only 3 weeks holiday in HK and I have to leave HK before Chinese New Year if I really go back HK in Jan....
if I go back HK after this semster, I will have 1-month holiday in HK.
but I don't think it's the best time to go back HK!!
WHAT SHOULD I DO?????

Arya and Alan went to student service to ask about this....
coz we all don't know if it's possible to go back HK during the break between diploma and university~
I'm not sure what's for

In fact, there aren't a big difference between 1-month-holiday and 3-weeks-holiday. Whenever you have 3-weeks-holiday or 1-month-holiday in Jan , you won't celebrate Chinese New Year. The exact day of Chinese New Year in 2008 is 7th Feb, so you are not concerned with it.
I am strongly recommend you to come back HK in Jan. I believe that 3-weeks-holiday is enough for you to meet fds // to go shopping // to go somewhere ... right? The important point is that we can celebrate your birthday ^^

I'm crying because you don't wish to see me as soon as possible....
you don't miss me anymore....
haha~ kidding!!
but I think I have to make everything clear~
you know~ if I come back in January~ I could not come back before my brithday because my holiday will start from the mid-Jan to the beginning of March~ then I will get 6 weeks holiday~
what confront me is that I will probably get the result 3 weeks after finishing diploma (during the holiday)~
I'm not sure if I have to come back here to do sth for university~
if I really need to come back 3 weeks after~ then I cannot have New Years in HK~
but, if I don't need to come back ~ I will probably have a-month holiday in HK and have Chinese New Year~

However!! I tell you a great news!!
it's ok for me to come back HK in the mid-Jan then also have New Year in HK with you!!!
Sweet?!
